Jill Waters
Founder & Senior Care Consultant
My interest and passion as a Senior Living Consultant began when I was a Sales Director for many years in a number of senior living communities throughout the Ventura County area. I found so much satisfaction in assisting families who were looking for senior living options for their loved ones that I eventually decided that I wanted to assist as many families as possible through the often very stressful process of finding the best next home in this new chapter of their loved one’s life.
Not only did I help other families, but I also found out first-hand how difficult it could be to navigate the senior living resources maze when my own Mom developed dementia in 2018. I began the search to find the absolute best care option for her so I could rest easy, knowing she was being well-taken care of while I went to work each day. That really opened up my eyes to what was available to families in Ventura County and I realized that, with over 300 senior living options, some were better than others in relation to the care and services they provided. And that’s when Senior Choice Care Connections was born.

I have truly found my niche in helping families in the midst of making difficult decisions for their loved ones, similar to the circumstances that I also have dealt with personally. Rachel Boris
In 2018, I began my journey in senior care when my grandmother
developed dementia. I was appointed as one of the first primary caregivers overseeing my grandmother’s daily routines while my mother (Jill Waters) worked full-time at assisted living communities in the Conejo Valley Area.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked for luxury companies, including pet hotels and an international river cruise company, where my main objectives were to assist in booking and reserving accommodations for all walks of life. I thoroughly enjoyed these positions due to the essential tasks that customer service and hospitality jobs offer.

My current position with Senior Choice is to oversee the day-to-day operations within the business, including website construction and maintenance, digital marketing, project management, and content creation. I also ensure that every inquiry is met with urgency and care.
